ARCSAR Stakeholder event, Brussels, Belgium – February 21, 2024

The ARCSAR Project’s Final Stakeholder Event will take place on 21.2.2024 at the Thon EU Hotel in Brussels.

The aim of the event is to present the ARCSAR project results to relevant Stakeholders, before the project ends 29.2.2024.

The ARCSAR Project (‘ARCtic Search And Rescue’) has created the first international Arctic and North Atlantic Security and Emergency Preparedness Network for SAR practitioners, authorities, industry, academia and relevant stakeholders, to develop further capabilities to face the increasing maritime-related demands in the Arctic and North Atlantic region. ARCSAR is funded by the EU H2020 program under GA No 786571.

A key aspect of ARCSAR’s work has been to map innovation needs and opportunities. The project aims to identify common platforms and opportunities for joint emergency response, through exchange of best practice concepts and standardization approaches, and to stimulate partnership for sufficient response capability to protect Arctic and North Atlantic commercial actors, inhabitants and the ecosystem into the future.

The event registration is now open. Please email the event organiser to register, kevin.fitzgibbon@mtu.ie.
