Arctic Circle Assembly 2021

The ARCSAR network and the EPPR working group of the Arctic Council are hosting a joint session at the Arctic Circle Assembly 2021 on nuclear & radiological incidents in Arctic seas discussing emergency prevention and preparedness.

The session will give the audience an overview of the challenges with RN incidents in the maritime Arctic, look into recent and ongoing work in the EPPR, the RNSARBOOK project that aims to develop standard operating procedures, and discuss what can be learned from table top exercises.

The time has finally come for the 2021 ARCSAR TTX, which will be hosted as a hybrid event over the next two days (09th - 10th November). The event will be hosted by #ARCSAR partner Nord universitet at #NORDLAB and moderated by the Norwegian Coastal Administration Kystverket and Canadian Coast Guard. This will be an action based event, focusing on real world challenges within the emergency response community, while also facilitating critical knowledge exchange between key stakeholders within this domain. Stay tuned for information over the next two days.
