The ARCSAR LIVEX 2022 event took place in Svalbard in the Arctic region, aiming to improve survival from incidents at sea and increase international collaboration in Search and Rescue. A simulated MRO (mass rescue operation) took place in Isfjorden, just outside of Longyearbyen as part of LIVEX 2022. The drill involved a fire onboard MS Quest, with a rescue operation from NCG (Norwegian Coast Guard) vessel Barentshav with SAR Queen helicopter from 330 Squadron, Banak – Norway.
